Seeking an electrical engineer with excellent circuit design skills for full-time employment in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. Position requires demonstrated experience with compact, low power circuit design for biomedical and environmental applications. Some exposure to and experience in MEMS/Microsystems is preferred, however we will consider a top, well-trained and highly motivated engineer without MEMS experience. Most project work will involve discrete component design, but experience with ASICs is a plus. Some experience with embedded systems and microprocessor programming is a plus, as is experience with low power wireless communications such as Zigbee. This is a hands-on job; applicant will be involved in all aspects of product lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, fabrication, and test. SB Microsystems carries out a combination of contract R&D and internal product development. Some travel and work on-site in clients' facilities will be expected. An M.S. in Electrical Engineering is preferred; a B.S. with equivalent experience in industry is just as good. Please send resume to Brian Jamieson at brianj@sbmicrosystems.us.
