Seeking an electrical engineer with 4-7 years experience in mixed signal discrete component design. You will manage and perform requirements gathering, specifications development, design and test. Required skills and traits: low power design, low noise analog and embedded programming skills. Desired: experience with medical applications and instrumentation, sensor interface circuits (e.g. potentiostats & capacitive sensor readouts), work with ASIC’s and microprocessors. Seeking an entry level engineer with excellent hands-on project skills, as demonstrated in work experience (summer, intern and/or Coop) and project-based class work. B.S. in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or mechanical engineering desired; however, your experience and skills are more important for this position that the title of your degree. Candidate will spend a 2-3 month preceptorship working in a biology lab. Following that, candidate will transition the skills learned from that experience to the development of custom devices and instruments for the biological problem. A flexible, independent and driven problem-solver is needed in this position; this is not the job for you if you like to be spoon-fed. This is a position with a high potential for future growth and for gaining practical experience in the full lifecycle of new product development. Seeking an intern for a 6 month position working with an exciting team specializing in miniaturized, low power systems and circuits for biomedical applications. Candidate must be willing to roll up sleeves and carry out a variety of tasks including PCB layout, electronic assembly and test, laboratory testing, some simple programming, and a wide variety of other tasks as they are needed. This is truly an entry level job, however one with an enormous potential for growth and opportunity. Seeking several extraordinarily motivated and hard-working college and advanced high school students for part-time positions during the school year and possibly next summer.
