Implantable Neural Probe

MEMS fabrication allows the creation of cell-scale architectures that enable direct recording from individual neurons in the central nervous system. Arrays of recording sites, as shown in these devices, allow researchers to explore neural network properties, and are being used for investigations of Alzheimer’s and Epilepsy.
