Brian Lewis is a Senior Electrical Engineer at SBM. Brian completed his B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2007 from Duke University, following that with a Masters in Engineering Management from Duke in 2010. Prior to joining SBM, Brian was a Principal Electrical Engineer with Ultra Electronics – 3Phoneix. Brian specializes in high-density system designs in low-power and low-noise environments. He has designed hardware and firmware for high reliability U.S. Navy and commercial geophysical systems including Rigid-Flex PCBs and energy-efficient FPGAs using VHDL. Brian also has experience in the design of high-bandwidth networking equipment working for Cisco Systems. Ultimately, Brian possesses a broad skillset culminating in the capability to design highly efficient and reliable systems across a variety of commercial and defense sectors. He is also currently enrolled in the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland as a candidate for an MBA in September, 2016.
