Garrett W. Cooper is a mechanical engineer at Scientific and Biomedical Microsystems, he received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Garrett’s experience lies in the design and development of mechanical systems from the micro to macro level for implementation in research and testing environments. He has had the opportunity to work on a multitude of projects in the biomedical and mechanical field since joining the SB Micro team. A few of his endeavors include functionalizing neural probes for electrochemical measurements and designing a submersible fixture for the dismantling of spent nuclear fuel elements. Garrett is constantly working to develop and improve designs for the modern engineering community and enjoys learning about the continuously evolving technology of the biomedical industry.
