SBM is developing prototypes and pre-production samples for a client’s novel approach to capsule endoscopy utilizing a variable rate sidewall scanning imager to produce a continuous image of small bowel tissue.

With our unique collection of skills and capabilities, SBM has developed some production fabrication processes and intellectual property that have found value in diverse applications. We have developed 3 limited production rapid prototyping capabilities as a result. Our microfluidics rapid prototyping process has been used by multiple clients in the biosciences to develop new testing and delivery methods. Our small pitch PCB process handles pitches to 3 micron and we have delivered rapid prototypes and limited production volumes products to multiple clients. Finally, our titanium/palladium CAPTON ribbon cable manufacturing process has been utilized by groups at both NIST and NASA to solve difficult system interconnection problems. SBM has developed each of these capabilities into a rapid prototyping and small volume production business.
